A railroad enthusiast commissioned Diane to paint the backdrop for the 75-foot perimeter of the model railroad in his Santa Fe home. Over the two-year span of the project, Diane painted realistic landscapes and cloudscapes behind modeled red cliffs, a river gorge, a small town’s main street, farms and warehouses.
